Welcome To The WHY Church
Welcome to the WHY Church! We are a community of Christ-followers on mission to seek Jesus, connect together, and share His love. Whether you have been following Jesus for years, or you feel new or unsure about your faith, the WHY Church is a place for you. Our home is the Elk River YMCA where we enjoy being a church in the Y. No need for a Y membership – the WHY Church is a Bible-based, mission-minded, life-giving church for the whole community. Stop by on a Sunday morning, connect with one of our WHY Groups during the week, or let us know how you’d like to get involved and serve. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Our Name
The WHY Church name communicates our connection to the Elk River YMCA (“the Y”), but also that we are place of question-asking and truth-seeking. Once when Jesus’ followers were asking WHY kinds of questions, He answered with, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life” (John 14:6). In other words, He is the WHY of life! In Him our biggest questions are answered. Our deepest longings are met in relationship with Jesus. He is our WHY.
