HOPE International

HOPE International invests in the dreams of families in the world’s underserved communities as we proclaim and live the Gospel. They do this by providing financial services like biblically based training, savings services, and microfinance loans as they share the hope of Christ in 17 countries around the world.

Why Are Christ-Centered Financial Services Needed?

HOPE International believes families in poverty have the God-given talents and skills to provide for their families. What they don’t have is a lump sum of money to invest in their potential—by paying school fees, saving for the future, or investing in businesses.

  • 2 billion people around the world do not have access to financial services.
  • 91 percent of adults in high-income countries have an account compared to just 28 percent in low-income countries.
  • Only 2.7% of microfinance institution clients are served by Christian organizations.

    HOPE hosts events all of the United States to introduce people to their organization and to meet their ongoing supports. They would love to meet you in person at one of their events across the country. These events are a great opportunity to support the cause, meet HOPE staff, and network with other friends of HOPE. Last year a group from the WHY Church went to the annual HOPE breakfast which was held in October. Several events like an annual breakfast are held each year in Minneapolis.
